I suspect we'll be seeing more cases like this in the future. Eliminating 5.25" bays and mounting 3.5/2.5" drives on the back of the mobo tray (or the bottom in front of the PSU) leaves 5 or 6 inches of dead space in the front of the case. Even with a radiator mounted on the front that still leaves enough free space for an E-ATX board and the only cost is moving the wiring holes forward or having seperate holes for ATX and E-ATX boards.
The other option would be to limit the top to only a 280mm rad instead of 360 and make the case smaller front to back. But since that'd mean the top would only have 2 slots to mount frag harder lights instead of 3 no current generation case maker would seriously consider doing so.
simple case with nice color paint is more than enough for MOST people IMHO, am sure they can do some fancy stick on vinyls or magnetic style to give it "flair"
why has no case maker done this? cases with metal equals can use magnetic backed stickers where the sky is the limit as far as custom "paint jobs"
you know like they have been doing with vehicles well before the time I was born, no need for everyone has the exact same look "beige box" just like there should not be every damn case that comes out the last couple of years generally crappy cooling because they focuse their BOM on "glass or acrylic" with those disco lights.

Yes please! I don't want or need to see the stuff inside my computer until I open the case to either clean out dust or replace/upgrade something inside it.

Secondly it's unnecessary; we've had perspex for decades and it works just as well while being helluva lighter. Thirdly, for all these drawbacks you get to pay more money.
I won't argue against tempered glass's aesthetics - it really does look good - but its not something I want or need, and I don't understand why manufacturers won't offer derivative SKUs with standard metal and/or perspex side panels instead of the glass, or even just allow us to buy such panels standalone from their web shops.

I personally prefer a solid side panel design, I have no need to show off case and the less likely to break a panel (or pull a muscle trying to move it around) the better.

4 usb front panel, great dust filters (on all intake spots) removable PSU shroud, enough front to back space so not fight with sata cables, thick enough material to not bend like crazy when installing fans, not need to take everything apart to access the fans etc
is not hard to make a great case, but it seems case makers all want to jump on the band wagon of glass and RGB make as small as they possibly can, limit amount of dust filters (if any at all) and so forth and completely forget about the ergonomics as well as cooling capability/capacity (for the love of all that is holy, they need to stop making case too short where the top fans crunch on the motherboard area making it much harder to install or use fans or AIO/Rads >:(
The reason they are all jumping on is because that's where the demand is at atm. I personally like tempered glass and rgb, if used minimally, so it doesn't look like one of those over done neon fair rides. There are some great cases that don't have so much glass or don't have any at all, but most people don't seem to want those, based on what companies are making. Lian Li generally has some aluminum based cases without rgb, but I think even they are starting to head towards the colors as well.

I don't like the window aesthetic period. Using glass instead of plastic doesn't change my opinion.All I want is a nice opaque on all sides cases with zero frag harder disco lights inside. It's increasingly seeming that this may be too much to ask.

I have a question, for the matrexx 70 or 75 can I use a 240mm radiator for the top or can I only use 280/360. Im still confused on it.
