Maybe anandtech could contact Samsung and ask them what is going on with Micro UFS cards. Samsung announced them ~2yrs ago but no cards have been released. Micro UFS cards have much faster iops than SD and lower power consumption.
It's kinda bizarre, didn't most high end phones move largely to UFS internally by now? Yet it's still nowhere as external media, and SD and CFexpress keep churning out new specs. UHS-II is pretty common on cameras by now (beyond DSLR, mirrorless and premium P&S too), shoot my midrange 2.5yr old Olympus was already leveraging it, I imagine it won't be long before UHS-III shows up.
