I was so looking into maybe getting this case and then you deflated it by posting the spec's for it and it only supporting 2 3.5 drives. I know it's not your fault never said it was. I have found that most of the 2018 cases have reduced 3.5 drive support to either 1 or 2 drives to make room for more open space inside the case. I have 4 4TB drives as storage and installing them to sit on the bottom of the case is not an option. I guess I will have to look into the Be Quiet 700 case I think it has space for up to 7 3.5 drives which is to bad because I really liked the looks of this case and would have made a nice case to build in.
It would seem that in 2018 HDDs are for NAS, and SSDs are for computers. Personally I am annoyed that with all that space, no room for even a slim optical drive anywhere. I realize not everyone needs one... but it would be nice to have an optional spot for one even if not in a traditional top/center/front location.
lack of ability to use multiple drives is automatic no sale (for me at least for 3.5 size) as rocky stated, also for my $ screw the glass and RGB cases as far as the eye can see.
I want proper dust filtration (such as Fractal Define C which has amazing dust filters IMO) removable PSU "shroud" so makes easier to wire everything up instead of fighting with it enough front to back room and height so one does not have to bend sata wires out of shape
as well so many cases really cramp up the top section for trying to fight gettings fans or AIO/liquid into them because of not enough height between top and motherboard >:(
I do like the bunch of front panel USB however, really really would like to see them do something like this for a "non rgb glass monstrosity" I personally have always HATED CM cases because the majority of them tended to use cruddy mesh with sponge type filters that are difficult to keep clean which makes case look like crud or no filter at all, this one does not seem like it would be any better.
not to mention that price (for me) all that RGB and glass BS might make a "show case" I rather them put a stealth type case where solid panels of decent no flex design etc, I think this case would have "potential" but I honestly am not overly impressed with CM these past couple of years, they rebrand "new" models from the same old base design and "upsell" using "master" in their name and up the price $20 or more versus their "old" line.
I understand they are in business to make money and all that, and they have had some pretty decent things over the years, but seriously CM try harder to be "honest" and not look at making a quick buck, go against the trends and make awesome stuff instead ^.^ (for example, claiming HSF can handle 180w when they can barely handle 120w safely LOL)
