You want your graphics card to be mysterious and unpredictable? I quite like the fact that mine is well known and predictable.

    Hush, he's busy trolling.

He's saying that just because you think it's unnecessary and stupid doesn't mean that everyone thinks so, which you clearly implied in your original statement. That being said, I'd much rather have a predictable graphics card that works ex actly like it's supposed to

“Mysterious” and “unpredictable” are not traits I look for when buying gaming hardware.

You never know the boost clock you are going to get!

Jokes aside, maybe they meant to say something else, but the English translation was poor?

Right now all dGPUs are phantom cards, I can't find any GTX1060 6GB cards under $300, that's ridiculous. The markup OVER MSRP for a year old product is SAD.

Yes! Unpredictable availability! Mysterious (or not-so-mysteriously) high pricing!

ASRock are a major force in the SFF market. Expect short/narrow cards, or even MXM modules for their mini-STX lineup.

more supply of cards cant be a bad thing and asrock is know for more of a value oriented manufacturer. so hopefully we get some cards that are decently priced.

first picture looks very much like a card msi has out a 2 fan amd fury looks so strange becoz they put the power connectors in the middle of the card. Im betting its the same spin

Source link is broken (it's missing the https://) - it should be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lR9GYRy9UZ4

Nvidia or AMD, and given recent developments will we see the larger AIB makers spinning off separate brand streams for each gpu manufacturer?

I've always wondered why Asrock was not in the VGA business, I mean seeing Asus, Gigabyte etc doing it, why not? even more when they know they always proven to be quite successful in bringing quite innovative products at really good prices.
