I don't think phone manufacturers charge according to BOM costs, but price according to trending market statistics and against competitively specced products. Otherwise Apple would be selling iPhone X phones for a little over $357.
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant: "Unless there is a lower price per GB, I can't see how the 512GB S9 will remain at a similar price to previous models. Thus, I can't see a 512GB phone selling well, because the price will be even higher." I just can't see an even higher priced phone selling well

Expect a significant uptick in price for significant upticks in storage capacity. That's how pricing has been done for a while.
