    Why stop at a 1080?

If you're paying $250ish for this box, you might as well get as much performance as possible.

It's not like that 450W PSU will be your bottleneck.

And we're seeing 4C Ultrabook CPUs that turbo up to 4 GHz.

Diminishing returns, as even with Thunderbolt 3, the bandwidth starts to be the bottleneck.

Haha. The bandwidth starts to be the bottleneck.

In addition to the TB3 bottleneck, making the card short enough might be a problem. The smallest 1080 appears to be 8.3" long; internal clearances mean that the biggest card this box could support would be slightly shorter.

Hey man... Have you heard of this new things called 'capitals'? They're usually used at the start of a sentence. It's amazing and, while we're here on this opic, can be used for so many things. You should try it when you. Stop.

I think you should stop speaking for others, the 1070 gaming box clearly sold enough for them to produce this 1080 version.

eGPUs are becoming mainstream whether you like it or not. People do want them and people are buying them.

With only USB/power I'd call this only a basic docking station. A more full featured solution would include eithernet and audio jacks. Kitchen sink solutions would add some things like PS2, Digital audio, firewire (old prograde AV hardware), and legacy COM/LPT ports (embedded hardware development fun). Some top of the line TB3 docks hit a over a dozen ports.

I like the size, but I somewhat doubt the cooling performance of this thing with only the main intake and very restricted vents at the back.

GPS gadgets are obtain-best electronics; they do no longer transmit facts or engage with different sectors of the device.

It is incredible how it has changed until and how it is that one can find different characteristics both of the increase in technology and although the 8gb memory has not changed. https://folletoss.pe/
