You also have to look the number of times you can enter a contest as well as the number of prize drawing from that pool.
Say there were 8000 entries but you were allowed to enter up to 8 times. Simple 1:1000 so far. Then say there were five drawings out of that prize pool. So 1:200 far. Then run 20 contests like that and the odds (presuming similar number of entries and prize drawings for each), the odds are now 1:10. Still a long shot but not terrible odds overall for just something.

That's not a bad phone at all. I'm partial to HTC mostly because they're not Samsung, but they've had an alright track record with phones; I loved my One M7, which I chose based partly on an Anandtech review.
I'm still rocking an OG Nexus 5 from 2013; I really need a new phone, and this looks pretty sweet. My first Android smartphone was the HTC Evo 4G, so this would be coming back into the fold for me...
I'm guessing this new liquid design using glass on the back will allow for better RF reception. I think the phone is beautiful, and I'm loving these colors.
Okay, so I'm not really expecting to win... and I do currently have a Galaxy S8... I'd never buy the HTC U11, even though I have loved HTC in the past... I started on smart phones with the DNA but haven't found HTC to be best in some time. But it would make a good alternate time.
It looks so good. Would be great to win as well for the simple fact that my LG Nexus 5x has gone into a boot loop of doom. Trying to work the problem hasn't been great.
Nice to see HTC is still including MicroSD on their new phones. I miss my HD2 which shipped with Windows Mobile 6.5 and still gets semi-regular community android builds all the way up to version 7.1 Nougat.
Squeeze feature or no, it's a very respectable flagship. And adding the squeeze is great, a flagship SHOULD be unique, not just the best CPU and screen they can put in.
So no ice white or solar red? :( Really wanted that amazing solar red, but its a free phone so cant complain much. Unlocked obviously; locked to one of 4 carriers and less colours, no please.
All in all the HTC U11 is possibly the best flagship phone at the moment. Having said this, I find it strange that the U11 does not currently support the Galileo satellite system. On the other hand, the flagships from Sony, Samsung and Huawei do support Galileo.
wondering if they'll ever release a list of winners in the 20th anniversary giveaway. didn't win anything but there's a bit of consolation (and encouragement) to see that someone actually won something.
TBH, I don't even want one because it's too big and it has a glass back. But I might wanna give it a chance if it's free. If not, I can just give it to my mom.
I'll take one! It's exciting to see a unique new smart phone from HTC. The internals are more or less the same as any other Android flagship but the design is different, like the Eris.

All in all the HTC U11 is possibly the best flagship phone at the moment. Having said this, I find it strange that the U11 does not currently support the Galileo satellite system.
