    I'd buy these but I want a 4x16GB kit.

Would you pay $850-$900 for it?

If I didn't see something with better value with the same or better specifications, sure.

    I really like that effect.

I have Corsair dominator Platinum 2800 4x16 GB, which lacks the special color and 400 MHz, but I paid $340 for it. I actually tried 3200, but I couldn't find any performance difference, so no point in spending 2x cash on it.

Depending what you're doing... the performance increase is so minimal.. may as well save your money!

You could have 64GB of ram a year ago for less than $300

but you can't today. THE END

All caused by 'a fire' and some market BS.

Looks like the Corsair Dolphins Edition.

Looks like they're trying to simulate the way titanium exhausts discolor.

That's really silly. I'm all for good-looking computer components, but they're just going overboard.

The industry went overboard a couple of years ago when they started putting RGB LEDs on everything. I think it's a neat effect, and if it were matched to a similarly colored copper/blue motherboard it would look great. Unfortunately, the industry abandoned motherboards that aren't gamer-y a few years ago, so a matching motherboard would never exist.

    "Dominator Platinum Special Edition Torque."

    Christ on a cracker.

Apparently the going rate for RAM these days is about eighty bucks a word. This is one of the most ridiculous product names I've ever seen.

Same memory speed with better latencies could be bought in 2x16GB for $170 1 year ago. Stop buying smartphones.

This is an insane kit. For those few that can afford it, we're looking forward to some benchmarks.
