If its a publically traded company and I'm a shareholder cashing in on dividends, I'll be smiling all the way to the bank (until I have to pay capital gains taxes anyhow). However, regardless of whether or not I'm holding shares, I find the practice abhorrent and do what little I can to at least limit their reach into my life. I guess, as it stands, I'm of two minds about it.
