Nice monitors ACER, them refresh rates awesome, but your marketing department didn't study customer preference at 21:9 is not at 2560x1080? WHY? 2580x1080 at 31-32-34 inch displays doesn't makes sense. Attention ASUS whats your take? Like Acer, how about another PG348Q variant, this time $200-$300 cheaper and them buyers will flock your model.

To you maybe. To other's it's a more affordable option both in the monitor itself and in gaming hardware to be able keep the framerate high and take advantage of G-Sync and the higher refresh rates. What's the point of having a 3440x1440p ultrawide monitor if you can't take advantage of the gaming tech built into it without spending more and more money? This is an affordable option that should not be scrutinized without considering the big picture.

Ugh. These are disgusting resolutions (1080p and 1080p-ultrawide). And they are disgusting TN panels.

Get your shit together, Acer. People in the US market aren't just looking for lowest price. The PC enthusiasts here are looking for quality components, and are willing to pay for it.

"3000:1 contrast, although the contrast sound like it must be some sort of dynamic number. It is an 8-bit panel VA panel."
3000:1 is pretty much standard when it comes to contrast on VA panels.

I know you guys are super busy at CES, but if someone could put the specs into a table, it'd make these a lot easier to read.

I LOVE the idea of a high contrast gaming panel.

I've liked the ASUS PB328Q for a while due to it having a VA panel, greater than 1080p (1440p), greater than 60Hz (75Hz). 32" is a bit large for 1440p as well as fitting on my desk, but those aren't dealbreakers.

I never pulled the trigger on that panel because I'd like some form of variable refresh rate -- and although not a dealbreaker (30-75Hz would be fine for me), greater than 75Hz would be a nice to have.

    Nice, refresh rate race.
