Since it's rated for still operate for 60m underwater, what kind of cable is being used? That big opening w/ the flap sure doesn't look waterproof when the flap is open... lol Unless there's a special cable that comes with it but that would only help the drive itself, what about the device it's being connected to?

Do these have DRAM cache? How are they resistant to frequent power loss, ie cord unplugged w/o safe removal?

Adata screwed up big time... if they would of done some camouflage design on it they could of added tactical to the dust/water/shock trifecta.

I'm sure the version of the drive distributed to the U.S. armed forces will have whatever color scheme they desire. Or perhaps not. If you're in the field using one of these and the lack of camo color scheme is a tactical liability, I suggest that you are not in an appropriate location to be using it in the first place. Keep it stowed until you are out of the line of fire.

I wonder if he was referring more to the possible business from people who buy "tactical" things to decorate their cubicle with.

I think he was being funny. And frankly I would "of" found it quite amusing, except his phonenitc substitution for 've was so distracting it wasn't much fun by the time I realized what he was saying.

Too bad because it would've been quite funny otherwise!

See, these dang uneditable posts get you every time! I can't even spell 'phonetic' right - that's what I get for critiquing another post.
