Very interested to know if you have received review units as other sites have, and are hoping to review these devices.

I know from an Anandtech perspective, much of the hardware such as the Snapdragon 820 has been covered before, but with MotoMods I'd love to see a mini-review particularly paying attention to the battery life with and without battery mod, sustained and thermal performance with the thin design, display quality (is it as good as Samsung GS7-level AMOLED in efficiency and quality), and a look at the camera performance.

I'm working on the Moto Z Droid preview right now actually :) It will cover everything you mentioned except battery life with the Power Pack attached and will post next week.

I suppose we can extrapolate anyway given that power packs are about 60-80% efficient, so good to hear the review is coming soon. Good luck getting through the final week's grind.

Yeah, I'd be interested in that as well. I'm skeptical as to whether it's worth the inherent disadvantages (extra weight/space for magnets and stuff).

I'd almost prefer a sealed phone with just a charging and headphone port and as much battery as humanly possible.

Let's hope pokemon go takes off and causes consumers to demand more battery life.

Since apparently thinness is all the rage today some people will be ecstatic knowing we're pushing towards razor-blade thin phone with batteries that last a good 30 minutes.

Because (approximate quote) "if you want battery life just put on a battery case".

I think I will skip the $700+ Lenovorola phones.
