Not interested in Zenbook and Transformer 3, but Zenfone 3 looks cool. And with Asus ditching Intel SoC in their new Zenfone lineup, i guess Intel handphone SoCs are officially and practically dead.
Weren't they dead already by Intel's own admission? Though Fossil and Moto's watch still use Intel SoC IIRC, current models too, and possibly upcoming ones for Fossil and their other brands. Hopefully that doesn't mean bad news for Wear updates...
You're right, for some reason I thought they went from TI OMAP to Intel, but they went to a Qualcomm like everybody else. So is Fossil the only Wear OEM using Intel?
Wow, too many interesting stuff... need to see better press-quality covers pictures and specifications for more details... are these products pages out or not yet ?
Imagine having a dog that's90% slower and 400% dumber.Hopefully it's better than that. Plus it's not easy to 3D map home in an efficient way, would be good if they do it once at first and then just track the changes.
What, (speaker)phone intercourse doesn't do it for you? :p
Has the Echo sold that well (to inspire competition) or were they just a bit ahead of the curve there like with the original Fire tablets? (never made any sense to me save for the fact that they were there first and cheaper)
The biggest difference is that this one is mobile and that is a really big diff. Ofc some future gen will have arms too and becomes a butler ( no murder jokes allowed!).
Been waiting for years for someone to do something like this, hopefully it is good enough. At that price it doesn't need to be able to do all that much.
How is it a big difference if it's still mostly an audio thing tho... I guess you don't need one in every room, so there's that, but until it can fetch me a beer being mobile seems like untapped potential!
I can't wait to get my "Lighting Fast Read & Write Speeds" and enjoy my experience with the "Supreme Smoothly Accuracy" glass-covered track pad. Seriously, did they really need to have a non-native English speaker just wing it when typing up these slides? All jokes aside, the technology looks pretty interesting. Just have to wait until some reviews come out and we'll see if they can follow through in execution.

5.7 inch 1080p AMOLED utterly ruins that phone, assuming PenTile.jjj - Monday, May 30, 2016 - link
The bigger the device, the bigger the pain with a home button, yet they go that way with the biggest device..Notable that they are in clone mode this year, not even trying to do significantly better.

"Snapdragon 652, 14nm, 8xA53"I guess you mistakenly typed 625 as 652 there.

Big phones are too big... I'd love to see Asus make a Z5 Compact or Nexus 5X competitor." ROG XG Station 2 - Supports External Graphics up to GTX 1080 "
If I was a laptop user I'd be pretty hot over that...

"02:40AM EDT - Snapdragon 652, 14nm, 8xA53"The picture showed Snapdragon 625, not 652.
Sad, I would like them to use the high end core of A72, not the turtle A53...
