Rumors say Apple is switching from Qualcomm to Intel this year. 450/150 Mbps will likely be enough for the iPhone 7.

If it is only sampling in 2H 2016, it would unlikely to be in iphone 7 this year.

it won't appear in the american version. Intel still does not support cdma

There is still some chance Apple may choose XMM 7360 for iPhone 7.

Skinny and fat ties go in and out of fashion, so someone will resurrect CDMA for SOMEthing.
But then again, do sand bugs even know what a tie IS?
