Agree. These high-end tablets are clever scams like freemium games. "Hey look, I sell you a very cool and fast tablet for affordable price." You buy it and realize you need to shell out another $200 bucks to actually make it usable.
Sell the f*** keyboard and pen with the tablet as a full package.
@Lolimaster: "For me surface pro 4 don't even exist when we have the surface book.
2160x1440 vs 3000x2000."
Lets fix that shall we. Surface Pro 4: 2736 x 1824
Interestingly given the size of the display, they SP4 and Surface Book both have a 267ppi display giving them the same sharpness, just a different size.
There are good reasons to prefer the Surface Book over the SP4. The display among the weaker reasons.
U got the sp4 i5 8gb. If the surface Book had better battery life in the clipboard i would get it no brainer. Maybe next generation will offer atleast 6 hours battery on tbe clip board! One can only hope.
@Xajel: "But the main thing stopping me is the screen size... 15" is the way to go for me duo to the work I usually do"
That would be one beast of a tablet (not in a good way). I think you'd be better off sticking with a notebook and getting a smaller tablet as a secondary device if you feel like you need it.
This looks like it's more of a competitor for the Surface 3 rather than any of the pro models.
If the price were a little lower and/or it included a keyboard, I'd be a little more interested, but even as is, it might be a good option if the build quality and other details are there.
Just like Microsoft, they're charging far too much for the keyboard, something that really should sell for much closer to the $10 it takes to purchase any external USB keyboard (except for the irrationally overpriced ones with mechanical switches). At any rate, I do think Huawei has a much better understanding of hinge design when comparing their device with the Surface Book's hugely gapped, awkward hinge that was built to keep the poorly thought out keyboard from scratching the screen. The fact that Huawei can afford to recess the keyboard's keys while still selling for less where Microsoft couldn't says quite a lot about how much better Huawei understands customers...or pretty much any other company that's made a laptop that properly closes over the past few decades.

I find Surface Pro more appealing to me duo to the Core i5/i7.. Core M is just too weak for my needs and for the spec. it's just expensive...But the main thing stopping me is the screen size... 15" is the way to go for me duo to the work I usually do

Pricing is laughable, and battery is mere 34Wh.If they sell this around $600 WITH keyboard I may pick one...
