if the box was "not wanted" I believe can get just the bare cpu itself for everyone else me thinks "you paid premium $$$ why the hell not have a wonking big box to put your tuna fish sammich in, a soda pop, maybe some a bag of chips, we made it this way so you are still able to eat and such while while you rip up on whatever task tickles your fancy"
Wow, I would really buy a HTPC in that case. Not due to it being in TR chassis, but I like this cube like dimension. It seems like a piece of art rather than PC.
