Since there seems to be no centralized place for feedback on the new site design, I'll post it here. Would it be possible to either put the "Next" button at the top of the image, or have all images the same vertical dimension so the button does not move around? It is annoying to have to move the mouse for every click through the gallery.
... and that row of "This just in" looks a bit bothersome, too. Especially in front of a review of a not too recently released laptop. The new layout also eats a lot of screen real estate. How's the AnandTech team's eyesight?
Well, *I* just received it and felt like making some comments and getting some pictures done. (Actually, I got it just before my son was born, but the past two weeks have been a bit busy.) The "This Just In" is a category of article, which is why this is there.
I like the overall new design of the website but can you implement the gallery as a lightbox with AJAX? It's quite annoying to have page reload every time I click on a new photo in the gallery (plus it forces you away from the article). May I suggest you look at lighbox2: http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/ It's really easy to implement in your current design I think
