This is a good thing, as long as there are customers.
I wonder how it compares to TSMC N12e. Oh good, it's mentioned in the article too.

This is a good strategy, this segment is on the rise with cars in general using more and more chips.

Most chips don't need to be super small and super powerful, good enough is all you need in most cases.
