The endurance numbers don't make sense, 0.58 DWPD x 30.72TB is 32PB, which matches the Max Random Endurance spec on the slide you posted above it. So is 0.58 DWPD for 4K random or 8K? Solidigm played this game on the P5316

The slide says that endurance is for 8K.

That slide is from last year's Tech Field Day (that is why the model number is not specified in it).

Since then, Solidigm has been apparently working on the firmware more and updated it - the 0.58 DWPD is for 4K in the P5430 (not surprising since it uses 4KB IU). The P5316 with its high IU was a completely different beast.

What's amazing is these endurance numbers are twice as good as Micron's 232L TLC. It's ridiculous to consider a QLC drive trumping a TLC drive in anything but price, but...here you have it.

    "here you have it."

or... not. not sayin anyone's lyin, just sayin.

If you're comparing it to the DWPD ratings of other SSD's, know that what the NAND is actually capable of and what it's "rated for" can be quite different depending on what the company wants it's warranty to be.

How can you put QLC and enterprise in one sentence is beyond me.
