^^ This. This is the only question, the only fact that really matters with these new external enclosures. Until they use Titan Ridge to offer both TB3 and USB3 compatibility in a single enclosure, they do nothing to move forward.
Man am I glad I didn't give in and buy the 2tb Sandisk or Samsung T5 external drives that were on sale at the end of the year. All those top out at 550mb/sec and I knew there had to be the NVME equivalents coming out shortly.
Only two weeks into the new year and we already have a bunch of newly announced nvme external drives with either USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3 interfaces.
Such a great info for me about the SSD. My laptop is very slow here you shared such a great external storage drive which is so fast.
