    These water cooling parts always look real cool to me, but I can never see myself spending $150 just for a CPU block, when the performance improvements over simply using a Noctua air cooler is uninspiring.

    AMD's got to be releasing some kind of high watt monster in the future. There's just no way they can't. Gamers Nexus previously tested the VRM heatsinks on some AMD mobos and found that the extra cooling was wholly unnecessary, even when overclocking higher grade AMD CPU SKUs.

    The point of the monoblock is to cool the surround VRMs when they go through extensive heat when delivering lots of watts to the CPU and the current CPUs out there for Zen+ aren't demanding that much to warrant a monoblock.
