I expect them not to discontinue the smaller XG-5. Could be that the new version uses a larger die to hit 2 TB, which would lead to worse performance at 512 GB.

No 512 GB option?I'm all for ditching the 128GB drives, but not even having a 512 GB variant seems strange.
