Exactly. The change in starting point, as it were, has very little impact on actual speeds. Although the TDP difference, I think, is a more limiting factor. I'm a little surprised by the large gap.
They should have made it single slot by removing that DVI port because anyone with enough money to buy this is either not going to be using that port or they will be able to afford an HDMI->DVI passive adapter.
