To each his own, I realize, but for the life of me I can't figure out why this feature is such a big deal.

I tried to use this thing to record a full GTA 5 session spanning 2 hours. The resulting MP4 video simply froze the video at 32 minutes, but you could still get the audio.

The video indexing was also damaged after that time, Windows Media Player didn't allow scrolling through the timeline during play past that point. It only allowed playing from start to finish, and timeline skipping before the 32 minute mark. No other player managed it either, VNC included, which tells me the video got corrupted. The video was recorded at 720p 30fps.

There was a noticeable framerate dip at the 32 min. mark during a hectic firefight, but the game kept on going. That dip, however, ruined the video encoding. No framerate drop during gameplay itself, but the encoding of the video was corrupted on a FPS dip.

I was planning on filming a tutorial for Lester, Gerald, and Madrazo's missions, but after that experiment I just gave up, since my rig can't handle the recording if there is a FPS drop.
