Fourth sentence of the first paragraph "The 27-inch monitor combines a 8-bit panel with a 10-bit scaler..." though the model name is a fairly reliable clue.
What catches my eye -- side from the a/an typo -- is that the panel is later described in text and images as 10-bit. So which is it?
8 bit "native" 10bit with the upscaler being used, IMO probably not as good as native 10bit, but, it might have allowed them to "tweak" before the upscaler takes place, at the specs they show IPS 1440p 27inch, I wish more info was given for expected refresh rate not just the panels Hz level.
You didn't miss it. I have the original content in my RSS feed, and Anton must have added the monitor size after publishing it, because my feed doesn't mention the size.
Only through headphones. The monitor has a few microphones in it to 'read' the noise around you and attempt to cancel it out. I would've though most gamers would have closed-back earphones anyway, so noise cancelling wouldn't be a huge difference on top of that.
You know how hard it is to find a monitor with these specs that *doesn't* look like it's made for 13 year olds? 😕 At least with this one the RGB is on the back (and should be able to be turned off) and the monitor doesn't have stupid racing stripes on it.
I find it hard to buy anything other than Dell monitors, even if they lack variable refresh rate or indeed, high refresh rates. 3/5 year advanced exchange next business day warranties, and a professional appearance, along with solid stands and overall good build quality makes literally all the other monitors look like something you would find in your cereal.
I totally agree about Dell quality, but they just don't make a monitor with these specs! (1440p, IPS, 144Hz). If they did, I'd buy it in a flash. There's no way I'm staying with 60Hz any longer, it's simply fatiguing.

Well, given that I suspect they use the same panel, I'd go with the Razer offering because it doesn't make me want to puke when I look at it.Vidmo - Thursday, January 17, 2019 - link
Maybe I missed it, but this article does not even mention what the size of the monitor is...Galcobar - Thursday, January 17, 2019 - link

Ugh, put down the crack pipe Gigabyte. This is going well beyond that awful phase of all-glossy plastics on consumer laptops.The_Assimilator - Friday, January 18, 2019 - link
