Still haven't got a smartphone. Ever. Originally wanted something with stock Android, HTC Hero was close. And Nexus. But it never happened. Had a dumb phone which broke, borrowed an S2 for a short while but the power-button broke so have no functional phone whatsoever. Use Skype to have something at all :/
I have an unlocked Galaxy S6 that was meant for the Verizon network. It has a weak signal no matter where I am on the T-Mobile network. This phone would be an awesome replacement for me.
the last HTC phone I had was the One (m7) which held up pretty good except the screen was too small. Now on an LG V20 which is nice. Screen size on this new U looks good too. Between the screen size (same) and the 821 (the V20 has an 820) this would be an interesting comparison.
The U Ultra looks great! It's unfortunate that Samsung got all the SD chips before HTC and LG, but they still came out with quality stuff. Hope the HTC U 11 will be even better!
How is it possible that Android Central, Android Authority, iMore, etc etc do WORLDWIDE giveaways and AnandTech doesn't? I truly don't understand and I am very disappointed with this. :(

the last HTC phone I had was the One (m7) which held up pretty good except the screen was too small. Now on an LG V20 which is nice. Screen size on this new U looks good too.
