Comparing this mobile show to the one at Intel's IDF last time is like night and day.
Nevertheless, there's been a lot of stuff to cover from a more industry perspective(perhaps less around devices), various SoCs, architectures etc, I was wondering if there would be a new podcast once you guys are back from MWC to do a more "traditional" podcast spanning 90+ minutes. They are a goldmine and some of the best in-depth tech talk out there.
I'll add my voice to the chorus - delivering this content on the podcast channel would be fantastic. I'm sure the podcasts are a pain to produce, but I have to say, no other content has done more to inform me, or to get me to visit the site more often. More, please!
Same here, a full featured audio only podcast is what you guys do best as far as giving us some insight into the industry and what you are doing to get things moving in the right direction whereas articles rarely achieve this goal (it provides us with some different kind of info which is still very interesting of course).
I just wanted to add my voice to those saying a full-length audio podcast would be great.
I know it takes a lot of your time, but they are really the only window we have to a lot of stuff that's going on in the industry. They are very insightful. It's been too long since you last did one of these, it's well overdue.
WHAT ARE YOU TWO WEARING? Where do you even purchase such terrible ties? You look like bad salesmen. Please visit a JCREW and just buy the outfits on the mannequin.
Now that that is out of the way I wanted to bring your attention to a great series of posts over at the ARM Mali blog that has some pretty interesting tidbits.
They have already gone over some of the more interesting things in the latest Mali arch. Their lead driver developer has also committed to talking about their shader architecture in an upcoming post.
I wanted to note some an interesting deep dive on the Mali blog on how FP is implemented among various competing architectures. Spurred by a post from youi about how precision differences among hardware should be taken into account in designing ui elements to avoid artifacts. http://community.arm.com/groups/arm-mali-graphics/...
Shocking result was that tegra3 didn't do fp32 and had some weird intermediate implementation between 16 and 32.

Eh, who cares? Downloading the video 720p version and then converting it to mp3 just takes 2 minutes at most.[-Stash-] - Tuesday, February 25, 2014 - link
Evidently they care since they are different to you.tipoo - Tuesday, February 25, 2014 - link

Episode 1 (seperate event, or MWC this year) = Galaxy S Series announcement.Episode 2 (IDF) = Galaxy Note Series announcement.
I thought everyone knew that..... They've been doing that since the launch of the first Note.
