Perhaps, but I still wonder about the bandwidth limits of such a design when a) the CPU is as powerful as it is, and b) Intel will likely allow the CPU to spread its legs as opposed to the GPU. Llano takes an opposing approach which is probably wise considering the weaker CPU.
A 35W quad-core CPU is very impressive; I imagine it'd be around the 2.4GHz mark with a max turbo of about 3.4GHz, therefore very much like the 2820QM but using a good deal less juice.
Intel is getting these announcements in at the right time. Shame AMD can't play by the same rules.
Useless :). Ivy GPU will be neck to neck with Mobile Liano.....moreover 32 EU means a lot of power consumption and a low clocked CPU to stay in the Tdp. Do you need of a faster graphic?? buy a laptop with upcoming 28nm Mobile Gpus from Ati or Nvidia :)

This makes sense then can do a 35 watt TDP, given the die shrink, although considering you can stick a current quad in a tiny enclosure like a Macbook Pro, I'm not sure hitting that TDP is all that important, if the world were sane.
I'm really impressed with Intel's current entry level 2GHz Sandy Bridge quad Asus uses in the G74. Surprisingly, it overclocks itself to 2.5GHz SUSTAINED when faced with 8 threads hitting it at 100%...and does that indefinitely. I Folded on it all night, and it never dipped below 2.5GHz for all four cores (well, 2.495GHz, or whatever the actual clock speed is).
I too would want that very much ! I'd settle for i5 2500K-like performance, 4 cores with 4 threads, under 35W with all four cores loaded 100%. That and one of the upcoming Radeon HD7000 series 50-60W cards with BIG and efficient fan :)
I love performance of today's computers but I miss the cool operation from 15+ years ago. If I wanted a space heater, I would have purchased one.

while the cpu might be quite a bit less powerfull, the gpu isn't :)
