These definitely use LG panels, as LG is supposed to (or already did?) announce a 42" version of their OLED TVs, aimed specifically at the monitor enthusiast market. So these ASUS "monitors" are a competitors to LG's newest small OLED TVs.
What's interesting is they have Display Port, where LG TVs do not. Does DP 1.4 support 4k@120hz? I don't know, but these monitors do have HDMI 2.1, too.
Too late. Samsung ARK just ate all your lunch money. The 40"+ size needed 16:9 and 2160p--yes. But it also needs curved. I'm not even remotely interested in a 48" flat display. I will be on pre-order for the ARK.

Slowly getting there... If they could make them just 10 inches smaller yet, I might be really interested.dontlistentome - Wednesday, January 5, 2022 - link
You'd need to talk to LG about that. Suspect smaller panels will come as they roll out new substrates.Farfolomew - Wednesday, January 5, 2022 - link
