Looking into the issue last night, there are issues related to Ryzen and separate issues related to driver changes. I had to roll back my Radeon drivers to 17.7.1 to stop Overwatch from crashing.

Overwatch crashes are CPU related not GPU. At least for me and my friends (mostly nvidia) it crashes when we play on ultra settings.rascalion - Wednesday, October 11, 2017 - link
