While he does mean keyboard, motherboard isn't exactly wrong. Sure, it doesn't mean motherboard in the usual way we think of when talking PCs, really all motherboard means is the place when things are connected/housed. It's like a mothership but rather than being a ship it's a board. So technically it is correct, even if it is confusing and probably should have been said somewhat differently
Although the idea behind the "docking" is sound, and MAYBE arguably useful, I can't help but think it's going to be a really cheap feeling keyboard. The pictures certainly make me doubt the flat parts of the keyboard are concealing a set of all mechanical switches. Oh well.
I think this is cool, BUT (as Pee-Wee Herman once said, "Everyone I know has a big 'but'") how is this any different than just setting your phone in a cradle behind/next to your keyboard and installing Unified Remote or some other computer-controlling app?
Time will tell if it is easier to use or a more unified experience. I'm looking forward to your review!

USB charging port on keyboard for phone, or else the phone battery will just drain. make it a retractable cable too.beside that, do like the idea, now your phone becomes a part of the gaming experience, even if it is just a few shortcut apps to start out with

Ya, just looking at the keys, reminds me of the Razer Lycosa keyboard. Overall nice keyboard, but the full mechanical Blackwidows are so much better.
