Horror, don't say that. Whatever the real reason, this person did not deserve it. I very much sympathize with his loved ones, because I experienced a similar situation. My husband was driving home drunk after a party. He got into an accident and did not survive. It influenced me a lot, I started reading a lot of articles about drunk driving https://gradesfixer.com/free-essay-examples/drunk-... and now I volunteer to help people who cannot cope with alcoholism. Nobody deserves to die like that. Take care of yourself and never judge anyone!

    Sounds like murder.

"MSI has also said that the death was due to 'personal health factors', although there were reports of loud noises from the scene prior to the incident."
  • Oxford Guy - Wednesday, July 8, 2020 - link

Is it really appropriate to refer to someone who died from a fall from the 7th floor of a building "passing away"?

If I were writing the headline it would be: MSI CEO dies after mysterious fall from company building

To be fair, if Dr Cutress knew the chap, and liked him, it's understandable he'd want to leave out some of the more unpleasant details (and the rumours that have been surrounding them).

If the family doesn't want random strangers all over the world to speculate, then I respect their wishes and offer condolences.
  • Oxford Guy - Friday, July 10, 2020 - link

Condolences don't bring justice for someone if they were murdered. The news report said there were loud sounds prior, which indicates a struggle.

Given his young age and that, suicide seems unlikely.

And, the fact that he was successful and running a successful business.
  • Oxford Guy - Friday, July 10, 2020 - link

It's not understandable if there is mystery surrounding his death. That mystery needs to be solved if the death was not suicide.

I am not aware of Anandtech being the local police, nor of Dr Cutress being a detective on the case.

I'm quite certain that the local law enforcement will be digging deeply into this, but if Dr C doesn't want to discuss the unpleasant details surrounding the death of an acquaintance, he's entirely entitled not to.

    Have some bloody empathy, people.

And they will list his death due to Covid-19 if tested positive.

That would be the case had it happened in NYC.
  • rdgoodri - Wednesday, July 8, 2020 - link

    That's too young!
  • Oxford Guy - Wednesday, July 8, 2020 - link

A person is always too young to be pushed out of a tall building.

    RIP, Mr. Chiang.
  • Vitor - Monday, July 20, 2020 - link

By the lack of details, it was probably suicide. I actually find this whole taboo of not mentioning suicide very annoying.
